Entertainment galore!

I Am An Emotional Creature

I Am An Emotional Creature: The Secret Life of Girls Around the World.

This production is the epitome of passion, elegance, and women empowerment. It is something for every girl in the world - no matter who you are or where you are from. Moving through a world of topics and emotions, these voices are fierce, alive, tender, complicated, imaginative, and smart. Girls today often find themselves in a struggle between remaining strong and true to themselves and conforming to society's expectations in an attempt to please. I Am An Emotional Creature is a celebration of the authentic voice inside every girl and an inspiring call to action for girls everywhere to speak up, to be more assertive, to follow their dreams, and become the women they were always meant to be. Through rants, poetry, questions, and facts, an understanding of the universality of girls everywhere is acquired: their resiliency, their wildness, their pain, their fears, their secrets, and their triumps. I Am An Emotional Creature is a call, a reckoning, an education, an act of empowerment for girls and an illumination for us all. It takes you on a journey of smiles, tears and so much more.

Painting the town in all shades of red!

I just love my family:):)

Joburg is a city that never sleeps...a world of entertainment, the arts, and culture!

The ideal world to live in...

We are all trying to make our way to the top in this seemingly feeble life. None of us should live up to society's expectations - screw what society says! There is this perfect world that I would love to live in - the ideal world. A world where I am able to voice out what is on my mind, and not have to be judged. We are exposed to so much that we end up being misled by it. I'd like to live in a world where I can wear whatever it is that I want to wear, and not be told that it is inappropriate in society's eyes. A world where we (the general population) do not perceive the finer things in life as 'dilo tsamagoa' (ways of living which are only suited to or for 'white' people). A world where I can say 'NO' and not have it held against me...a world where I can cry as much as I want, and not have to apologise for it. A world where I can just be me! Because there is no formula to being me; or a memo of how I 'should' or 'should not' think, I can create this world for myself - we all can. The world is big, its bigger than me, and it awaits my conquest. After all, I know nothing about life; but everything about living! Until then...

One love

Lee
