That time of the year again.

All you need in this world is love and laughter. That's all anybody needs really - to have love in one hand; and laughter in the other.

Truth be told, it's been a while since I have graced you with a new post. So much has been happening. I've been pre-occupied by assignments, tests, and practicals - in a nutshell: school, and writing. Having said that, this should be no excuse for me to not attend to my blog for a little over two weeks. With exams coming up, I'm allowing myself the time to do all that I have to before exams begin much quicker than I can say 'it's crunch time!' Things are ofcourse a lot more different this year, than they were last year. Is it what I expected? Yes, it is actually. Second year of college is a lot more challenging (for lack of a better term). Time seems to fly more faster. I find myself burning out lately, and there are moments where I feel like I am sinking in quicksand. Not knowing how, I then find my feet on the ground and manage eventually.

When you're in your second-last year of studying, and approximately a month away from your mid-year exams, you don't have much time on your hands. Stress levels are at their peek, and you reach a mid-life crisis where you question yourself as to where to go from here? My future is not looking too shabby. I am in one of the most exciting industries anyone could immerse themselves in, and it is incredibly competitive. I say this because there are a couple of students whom are already in Radio. Here's one way to look at it: Boston Media House is the media industry, and each and every one of us are somewhat trying to be something of some sort. At the age of 20, I am pretty sure I could have a contact list - know someone who knows someone (that's the way it goes), get myself a deal with the SABC to do voice-overs, or even a slot on Yfm or an oline radio station. The bottom line is the future lies pregnant with possibilities, and I could make things work for me - just in good time.

Until then,

One love

Lee.
