Miss Jade Zwane.
So I have been reading the book 'aDickted' written by Jade Zwane, and I must say I was intrigued by it. At first, the idea of reading 'a sex' book seemed bizarre to me, but as I tapped into my open-minded self, I viewed the character as a sexually liberated woman who is not afraid to explore her sexuality more than a sexual predator. The book is a collection of narrated pieces of a (fictitious) character who shares her sexual experiences with different men. Jade Zwane is not necessarily 'deep' in her delivery of words and illustration of scenes in her book - she is explicit. I appreciate how she allows herself to go into the mind of a woman who embraces her sexuality. This character takes you through her sexual encounters with these men: how she feels when she is around them, the setting in which it takes place, and what is going on in her mind at that time.
I honestly think this one is for the open-minded soul who does not view sex as a no-go area when it comes to talking about it. It takes talent and skill to be able to metaphorically explore the "it was nice" experience and make it into a journey which the reader goes on as opposed to just telling someone 'it was nice'.
South Africa could do with more writers like Jade. There is a market for such material because this is what is going on around us on the daily. We are so inclined to the censored stuff that we are deprived of the beauty of exploring a writer's thoughts and uncensored expressions. Me likes this! Props to this woman!

Winter is coming to an end, Spring is fast-approaching. Let's turn them boots into sandles, soups into salads; and heaters into air-conditioners. It feels good to be back. Happy Spring to all!
Until then,
One Love.
