The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry

Finally got my hands on it! This moving tale is a combination of charm, humour, sadness, faith, hope, and ultimately, love. Harold Fry's life changes forever in a remarkable way.

He receives a letter from an old friend he hadn't seen in years who was is dying of cancer, and wanted to see Harold before passing over to the other side. "I am on my way. All you have to do is wait. Because I am going to save you, you see. I will keep walking and you must keep living," he replied to her. When this letter does not reach its destination, he decides to take a journey across Britain on foot.

As I join Harold Fry on his pilgrimage, I cannot help but commend him for his odyssey. I find it very subtle and touching.

Once you meet him, you will find it impossible to leave him. His journey does have a happy ending, indeed.

A book that is rich in context; wise and humorous in dialogue; and incredibly moving in its nature. Harold Fry is truly a man of heart.

One Love.

Lee.
