When A Walk Across The Sun turns into an unforgettable journey

This page-turner of a debut right here, had my heart bleeding as my imagination was making sense of the series of events which took place in the lives of two Indian teenagers who are abducted when a tsunami rips through their Indian village. They are then immersed in the unimaginable happenings of the underworld of India.

Seventeen-year-old Ahalya together with sister, Sita who is two years her junior are given a life-changing experience of child and sex trafficking when destitution claims their lives. This fictitious tale is coupled with an awareness of a saddening reality which many do not survive. In the book, the sisters survive their horrific endurance in the end. Their lives are intertwined with that of Thomas Clarke's - a Washington lawyer who accepts a position with the Bombay branch of an international anti-trafficking group, and makes it his mission to save them. A story of love, hope, trust, and having faith even in the darkest hour of the night.

In this debut, Corban Addison informs and interacts with his readers. There is also exclusive reading material included. The message brought across, as well as the emotion evoked in this book will stay with me for a very long time. Truly unforgettable. I'd recommend this to anyone who is into fiction.

Until then,

One love.

Lee.
